The Social Science Research Institute presents:

Human Trafficking: A highway that leads to our neighborhoods. An Education and Informational Community Forum

Human trafficking is often thought of as something that happens elsewhere – in other countries or in the inner cities. However, the truth is that sex trafficking is happening in America and on Long Island itself. This educational and informational community forum includes presentations from local experts, and a first-hand account from a trafficking survivor.

Attendees will learn how to recognize the red flags of trafficking and what one can do if they suspect a person is being trafficked.

The Retreat will have an information and resources table.

Open to the public.
