Dust off your vintage, classic, or otherwise “cool car” and sign it up for an ultimate day of touring the Hamptons countryside. On August 22, 2010 the Retreat will be hosting its Third Annual Hamptons Pursuit Car Rallye-Tour de Hamptons. Participants will cruise the back roads following “clues” to find their way to each of the checkpoints. In addition to finding each checkpoint, entrants will have the opportunity to answer trivial questions to get additional points. Prizes will be awarded to the entrant that finishes first as long as they have all the checkpoint stamps, as well as the cars that have the most trivial questions answered correctly.
Everyone will be able to tell their road stories at the finish line with good food donated from multiple local restaurants. Proceeds from the Road Rallye will directly benefit the Retreat.
