After a lengthy search and more than 280 entries, The Retreat has announced the top 25 artists to be featured in a group show from May 1-13, 2010, at the Richard J. Demato Gallery in Sag Harbor. The “Best In Show” of the group will have a solo exhibition at the Gallery at a later date. Winners were chosen by jurors Max Fishko, Gallery Director for ArtHamptons and the San Francisco Fine Art Fair, and Christina Strassfield, Museum Director/Chief Curator of Guild Hall. The 25 artists selected are from as far away as Sao Paulo, Brazil to as near as Sag Harbor.
