Administration
- Assist with answering phones on the administration line
- Processing police reports
- Data entry — for several different departments — must have Excel experience
- Office organization (files, closets, basement)
- Bilingual person needed for the hotline office to access incoming calls for
advocates.
- Answer calls coming in on the Hotline line
- Event preparation — prior/during/post help
- Cement repair for walkway
- Exterior staining needed for office building
- Computer training for staff (Mac/Windows), from basic to advanced
- Update referral book — requires making phone calls to verify information currently on file for outside resources.
- Plumbing/electrical issues that arise
Shelter
- Assist with answering phones and helping clients at the window
- Data entry — must have Excel experience
- Transportation — using agency vehicle, transport clients to doctors appointments, stores, attorney’s office, etc. Valid license required (we will run it through DMV)
- Computer training for clients/staff — basic
- Online research
- Painters for interior/exterior of building
- Plumbing/electrical issues that arise
Store
- Assist maintenance person with pickup of deliveries
- Cashier
- Organizing back room.
- Accepting donations — sort donations as they come in
